
About Us
Created in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in June 2020, Haverford Swim Lessons™ has blossomed into a fast-growing business a staff with six instructors, and counting! At Haverford Swim Lessons, we are committed to providing a quality swim education to every student in an enjoyable manner. We hope to make swimming affordable for all through effective, custom lessons catered to each student. All of us at Haverford have a passion for swimming, and love being able to share this love with others. Haverford was founded by U of D Jesuit Seniors Ricardo Peres-da-Silva and Fuzail Ahmed. Meet The Team

Fuzail Ahmed
The true genius of Haverford, Fuzail is truly the rock behind this company. He has swam since he was 6 years old. He has the captain of the the UDJ swim team. He has also swam at BBD and Forest Hills Swim club. He will attend Kalamazoo College to swim.

Ricardo Peres-da-Silva
Ricardo has swam since he was eight on the Fox Hills swim team, the UDJ swim team, and also has been a lifeguard for two years. He loves giving swim lessons and has been giving lessons since day 1! One fun fact about Ricardo is that he is a tri-citizen in the USA, Canada, and India.

Elise Liddell
Elise is a Senior at Seaholm High School, and captain of the girls swim team. She has experience with lifeguarding and has worked as a swim coach in the past.

Mikayla Rondeau
Mikayla is a senior at Mercy High School. She has swam year round for as long as she can remember for BBA, Beachwood in the summer, and at Mercy. A fun fact about Mikayla is that she loves ice cream.

Grace Shaya
Grace is a Junior at Marian High School. She plays tennis and is apart of the disaster relief club, project care club, and the ambassador club. Grace also babysits, and has experience on a swim team. A fun fact about Grace is that she has her boating license!

Umair Ahmed
Fuzails younger brother, Umair is a freshman at U of D Jesuit high school. He is on the UDJ swim team, the Forest Hills swim team and is also a caddie.
